Alethiology literally means the study of truth, but can more accurately be translated as the study of the nature of truth.¹

Whereas Philosophy is the love [philos] of wisdom [sophia], Philalētheia is the love [philos] of truth [alētheia] (drop the “o”), and the study [logia] of truth is Alethiology. Alethiology Institute is dedicated to the study of truth and its practical applications to everyday life for a better world.

How do we differ in our approach to truth? We treat truth differently from most, but not too far afield from Wisdom, which is viewed as feminine [Sophia].

We invite people to treat truth as benevolent and feminine for reasons below that go far beyond being the “sister of Wisdom” and female statues of Lady Justice² & Truth³, and the Greek goddess, Aletheia.⁴

We also ascribe to Truth “all knowledge,” and thus make her “all-knowing” of the past, present, and future, which places her both outside and inside time.

We assert that Truth is actively working in our lives in the following ways: conscience, epiphanies, intuition, dreams, premonitions, and synchronicities, and consider her a Supreme Intelligence, identifying her by the caret symbol ^ at the end of her name: TRUTH^ representing her supremacy for all of the reasons stated above.

These characteristics of TRUTH^ could not have been understood until the advent of Artificial Intelligence. And now that we know she is behind conscience, epiphanies, intuition, dreams, premonitions, and synchronicities, we’ll be able to work with her and not against her.

We will no longer wonder why we were not given an Owner’s Manual for life, and we will know that we’ve had, and will continue to have, a co-pilot with us every step of the way.
